Discover Your Weapon.
It is an undiluted fact that we may not be able to exercise absolute control over certain circumstances that life brings to us. But it is gratifying to note that when life presents certain circumstances or challenges, it also presents to us what we can use to overcome those challenges.
Brethren, In times of trouble; what you need do is not succumbing to the trouble in despair, but to find the suitable weapon you can use to triumph it.
Do You Have The Weapon.?
Yes you do. Your weapon of is not far from you this moment as you are reading this article. All that You need to now is discover it and use it to do great exploits.
In times of trouble, don’t sit down to whine and complain. Your urgent need in times of trouble is to seek for the right solution. There are no unfavourable circumstances that have no solution. Where there are problems, there are solutions as well. Every poison have an antidote.
Whenever there is problem, you have to unravel where the solution lies and apply it immediately before it is too late. Whenever there is war to be fought, the weapon you need to win the war is not far-fetched.
Most often, the weapon or the solution we need to overcome the challenges we are facing is already with us. But the sad fact is that in times of tribulations and unwanted conditions, we sometime fail to realize that the very thing we have to deploy to obtain our victory is already with us.
The only reason why we run from pillar to post is our inability to discover that we have the solution to any forms of challenges we are facing. The moment we realize it we will no longer be restless. Rather, you will start applying the weapon to win.
My friends, Regardless of the unfavourable circumstances around you, you already have what it takes to deal with them. For Moses, it was the rod in his hands that he used to tend the sheeps. For Samson, it was the jawbone of an ass. For Elisha, it was the mantle, which symbolized the double portion of Elijah’s spirit. For the widow woman of Zarephath, it was a handful of meal in a barrel and a little oil in a cruse. God has never create anyone without a significant weapon. He has endowed us with the needed resources for each purpose, and for each challenges that we cannot escape.
Did you remember Daniel? It was His faith, his uprightness, his faithfulness, his spiritual discipline and prayerful life that sustained him in the strange land of Babylon. ( But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Daniel:1:8.) And He really treason it.
TREASURE YOUR WEAPON.
The rod was an insignificant tool in the hand of Moses. Moses never saw anything spectacular about the rod. The rod was nothing but an ordinary stick in his hand. But the amazing part was that God did not see it that way. The way we look at things is not the way God sees them. Because there is BIG difference between LOOKING and SEEING.
WHAT YOU THINK IS WORTHLESS TO YOU COULD BE THE VERY WEAPON GOD HAS PLACED IN YOUR HAND TO WIN THE BATTLES OF LIFE CONFRONTING YOU...
Dear reader, what is that thing in your hand? What is it you can point to, which though insignificant in your eyes, is in your possession? That thing in your hand may be insignificant in your eyes, but it could be the very thing God wants you to use as your weapon of victory.
A. It may be the spirit of Wisdom
B. It may be your spirit of counsel
C. It may be your creative ability.
D. It may be your discerning spirit.
E. It may be your talent.
F. It may be your kindness
G. It may be spirit of prayer
F. It may be hospitality
H. It may be Strong Faith...etc
That is why you must cherish it and work on it always.
IT IS WHAT IS IN YOUR HANDS OR WHAT YOU POSSESS THAT GOD CONSIDERS AND EXPECTS YOU TO USE AS YOUR WEAPON OF POSITIVE CHANGE...
To discover your weapon of victory and success. Then, value it with your whole life. Because it is what you have that God will use to earn you the victory you desire.
WHEN GOD WANTS TO TURN AROUND YOUR SITUATION, HE USES ANYTHING IN YOUR POSSESSION, NO MATTER HOW LITTLE IT MAY BE, TO ACCOMPLISH HIS PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE...
This is not difficult for God. Remember, God created the world out of nothing. He used His Word to create the world. He said: “Let there be…,” and there was.
WHEN YOU TREASURE WHAT YOU HAVE, YOU HAVE DISCOVERED YOUR WEAPON OF VICTORY. IT IS OUR FAILURE TO TREASURE WHAT WE HAVE THAT IS ROBBING US OF THE VICTORY THAT IS OURS BY BIRTH...
When you don’t value what you have, you will not attach significance to it. And as long as those things you have are worthless to you, you will not see any reason to deploy them for your greatness.
Finally brethren, never allow the feeling of helplessness, hopelessness and depression to make you conclude that you don’t have what it takes to be an overcomer. Don’t allow any negative situation to make you overlook the weapon of your victory that God has placed in your hands.
The Bible says, Now, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Romans:8:37.
Now, we have no excuse to give for not being overcomers.
We only need to constantly treasure everything we have for they are the weapons we must deploy to be victorious and to be successful in life...
