Hmmm....Brethren.
SET SEXUAL BOUNDARIES
Sexual immorality is on the increase all over the world. Adultery is fast becoming the norm and men of God are also joining the club. Married women are not left out, many are having secret lovers and emotional affairs are becoming the order of the day. (2 Tim 3:1-5)
The rate at which immorality is increasing is alarming! It is spreading fast into every nook and cranny and children are also being initiated into the club. It's no news that 10, 13 years old kids now have sex with each other. (2 Tim 4:1) Staying sexually pure these days is becoming a Herculean task.
One of the reasons people fall flat into illicit sex is over confidence. The belief that you can be free around the opposite sex and nothing would happen! ( 2 Corinthians 10:12) forgotten that a lot will happen!
One of the ways you can stay sexually pure whether married or single these end time is to set strict boundaries. If you are too careless around the opposite sex, you will fall flat on your face! That is the truth. The ealier you believe this and work on it, the better. You can't be careless around the opposite sex and hope to stay sexually pure, set boundaries! ( 1 Corinthians 6:18)
There are some people who can't be your friends, raise your standard. Any body can call you names, dont bother because you have your destiny to protect.
Set rules, Don't make friends with liars, gossips and jealous people. They make life so complicated. If people around you believe in illicit sex, Quit such friendship period! ( 1 Corinthians 15:33 )
You need to monitor the kind of people you chat with. Don't allow anybody to send you flirty messages, no matter how innocent it sounds, warn them and if they refuse to stop, block them.
It amazed me even in Christian Circle that some have joined many illicit sex groups. Engaging their heart and mind in immoral action all in the name of maturity. !frankly speaking, you are not mature the day you descend so low to engage yourself or mind in sex immortality. ( Prov 4:23 )
It is high time to limit the hugs and touches of people with immoral motives. Hugging cannot transfer anointing if done with evil motives. Brethren, let's wake up from our slumbering, God is not a confused Father. He warned us to be careful of dogs. ( Philippians 3:2 )
Be careful of pet names that can swift you off your feet except from your close family members, wife/husband and same sex friends. All these ungodly names can turn the opposite on, if care is not taken. Remember the Bible says we should be wise as serpent and be upright in all manners of conversation. ( 1 pet 1:15 )
Brethren. Be sensitive to the power of attractions. Through which many gaint in faith had fell. Materlistic attitude can cause strong downfall into illcit sex act...etc.
I nodded when I saw people that are naive around the opposte sex, they don't know when a man/ woman is sexually attracted to them and they even laugh at it with open arms. Instead to move back from the person to reject the wrong message. ( Prov 3:7 )
Ladies have been socially diverted to open their body structures in order to attract good men. No moral conducts nor sanctity amongst the youths again. You can imagine the kind of mentors some of the youth have today. ( Instagram and Facebook mentor, Criminal and yahoo mentors, to suit their illicit act) some parent even influence their children to engage in sexual immortality all in the name of money and fame. Instead to be a good example for their children. ( Prov 22:6 )
Brethren. The truth is marrying the greatest man on earth or beautiful anf virtous woman will not automatically stop you from being attracted to someone else. The way out is to Know when the thought of another man/ woman get you excited and shun it ( Guide your mind and run)
Before in conclude. Its not the fact but the truth that you should not jump at new relationships because someone broke your heart. It can lead you to immoral act and make you desperate, Give it time. Pray about it and let God healed your wound and fashion you to His taste. Prayer and been watchful prevented us from falling into silly temptation and illicit sex.
Many things have affected the spiritual life of people which hindered them to ignore the importance and effect of prayer in all they do. ( Philippians 4:6, Mathew 26:41 )
Therefore before you start new relationship, Study the person, know what they stand for, understand the personality of the person and yours too, see if your core values are compatible, if not, move back and move on. Inability to identify the kind of people that we need in our lives as lure us into sexaul immortality.
If you are a leader in any facet of life. You should understand that Leadership attracts all kinds of people. So, If you are a leader or you are gifted, talented or intelligent, the opposite sex will always show more interest in you, be careful whom you allow to get close to you, and be careful what you do together. Many great ministers of God and renowned people on earth had fell. So, learn before you fall flat. ( 2 Sam 1:27, Eph 5:15 )
Accepts gifts with care. Women, undertand that Men don't joke with their money and time. If he spends so much time and money on you especially when you do not ask, he may one day ask for sex execpt if his an angel. Stop begging for money with conditions. Work with your two hands and raise your standard. Men will respect and honour you. ( 1 Tess 4:11 )
Couples, Work on your marriage. Fix the problem as soon as possible or else you get attracted to someone who gives you what you lack in your marriage, adultery is the result not testimony. ( 1 Pet 3:7-10 )
Therefore brethren.......Be prayerful and be watchful. ..."
Don't stay with the opposite sex in a dark or lonely room thinking or assuming that you are mature. You're not, you're only helping your illicit conceived motives.
Let your spouse or parents advise you on what is okay for you if they are good examples to follow.
Christian youths, control your social lifestyle before it landed you into evil act and desperate motives.
Don't visit the opposite sex alone, especially at night if you are not in "courtship". And even if you're in courtship, be upright and visit at day light. ( James 1:13-15 )
These and more are the things you need to do to stay sexually pure in this darken generation.
People may laugh at you, it doesn't really matter. They may call you names like, neurotic, psychotic, fanatic, over sensitive or paranoid, do not be bothered.
Your destiny is precious than to waste it on the altar of sin. Remember Reuben, Samson and King Solomon---- Gen 49:4,etc.
Finally, Avoid friends who make fun of holiness and make friends with people who highly appreciate purity and holiness. ( 1 Pet 1: 13-15 )
